item      1    Eternal Capitol Peace Vigil Sunday & Thursday

Join the Tallahassee Network for Justice and Peace, Veterans for Peace, Vietnam Veterans
Against the War, Military Families Speak Out, Gold Star Families for Peace, Code Pink.
Now in year seven. Signs provided.
Sundays 12:30-2:30
Thursdays 4:00-6:00
in front of the Old Capitol
NO IRAN WAR;  FREE IRAQ ; FREE AFGHANISTAN. FREE AL-ZAIDI.
Does it do any good? None you can see. But I for one can not stand idle, while my government kills Iraqi and Afghan children in my name with my tax dollars, for I have been too close to the spear tip when thousands of Vietnamese children were killed when I actively helped their murder. Murders, which continue today by the poisons and unexploded bombs we spread across their country.

Bread and Roses Food Cooperative
Meetings - Informational Meeting

B & R is now an 82 member strong organization and growing steadily.
We are holding another of our introductory presentations for anyone who would like to know more about the organization.
The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session which has typically lasted 30-45 minutes.
This is the first community presentation to be held on a weekday evening, we hope this will help facilitate the attendance of those who were unable to make our weekend presentations.
We only have a limited time for this presentation so it is important that we start promptly at 7pm.

=item 6  The Yeti - SGA BAR-BQ 30JUN2009

While your faithful Yeti editors work hard to keep the website rolling, provide new and interesting content for your reading pleasure, and otherwise fight the fights worth fighting, the awful summer stickiness of Tallahassee has thoroughly prevented us from hosting outdoor events (so far, anyway).
HOWEVER, FSU is giving away FREE FOOD at the end of this month and The Yeti will totally be there.
WHAT:   SGA BARBEQUE
WHEN:  Tuesday, June 30th  from 12:00pm - 3:00pm
WHERE:  Union Green courtyard
Look for the Yeti table if you're interested in picking up our last print issue, want to get involved with our FIGHT FOR FREELANCE campaign, or would like to become a regular contributor to the site (perks include: being loved by your gracious editors forever, having your name on a REAL, non-blogspot website, and the honor of being part of The Yeti heritage).

If you can't make it to the barbeque but are still interested in getting more involved with The Yeti, send us an email at yetisubmissions@http://www.facebook.com/l/;hotmail.com.  We'll set you up with awesomeness pronto.

Often people ask how they got on this list. Well. I've given up spending a lot of time asking why about anything, especially horrible things, happen. I'm far more interested in how to fix it.

But anyway, there are several methods to get on this list.
1] Put your email address down at anything or anywhere that looks like the stuff I post.
2] Have a mutual friend with me that sends both of us a post.
3] Post to a list serve I'm on.
4] Be recommended by a friend.
5] Ask
